Much "tie hack" logging done here in the Upper Green River Valley of Wyoming. Tie hackers harvested the trees in the winter and skidded them down to the Green River to be floated to Green River, Wyoming to be made into railroad ties. Many of the cabins and camps can still be found in the forests. Really enjoyed this week's postings. Thanks.
