Dumping Snow

Today we have another picture of the snow cleanup from the 1899 New York City Blizzard. You can see after filling wagons with the snow from the street, it was dumped in the river. Must have been an enormous job.

  1. No matter how much snow-removal technology we have, cleaning up after a huge snowstorm is ALWAYS a giant mess!!

  2. Eldest daughter wants to move from Baltimore to South Carolina because she doesn't like to shovel snow. I told her it's easier to hand snow than to shovel a hurricane.
