San Angelo Train Depot

OK, we wrap up Texas Week with this picture of the Train Depot in San Angelo, Texas. The picture was taken in 1908, so you can see they were still using horses and buggies. Also, you can see the passenger train in the background. I love the look of these old train stations.


  1. What a beautiful building! I much prefer train travel to any other form of transportation, and coming and going from this building would have made any trip a sheer delight.

  2. What a stunning train station, I agree! Would this be called "Mission Style," even though it's not in California? It's not a large station, but it's certainly busy, with buggies and wagons and lots of comings and goings.
