Lunch Time

Even bandits and insurrectionists need to take time for lunch. The picture above shows a group of rebels in 1911 in camp pausing for lunch. Even though it is lunch time, they appear to be woefully unarmed, given the fast pace and unexpected turns of a Mexican Revolution.

  2. At least they are all standing up, ready to move at a moment's notice. They do seem rather blasé, but Mexico has had more revolutions than a record player, and they are probably used to this stuff.

  3. The guy on the right is sporting two belt buckles, so possibly he has a sidearm that's hidden by his coat tails.

  4. Great shot! I'm sure much of their lives were probably quite dull and ardous. And smelly. Looks like they could do with a wash lol
