Today's picture shows a snowy day on Broadway. The picture was taken in 1905. It looks like the cleared the streets by just piling snow off to the side. I bet it was a big job before the days of snow plows.


  1. I wonder if the photographer deliberately took this shot to get the sign regarding "sweltering weather" in the background?

  2. Another great shot with lots of interesting things going on. I guess they aren't going to need the "Sarnoff straw hats for this sweltering weather" on this day. ; )
