Deadwood Stage
Today's picture shows the Deadwood Stagecoach. It was taken in 1890. This is really a great picture of the authentic west. It looks like well over a dozen people on the stage.
We took a family trip to South Dakota in the 80's and rode a similar stagecoach in Deadwood. I remember it was a bumpy ride. My little brother was sticking his arm out the window and said he felt the driver's whip graze his finger. He kept his hands in after that! -Anne K.
