Texaco Station

Today's picture is from 1940, and shows a Texaco service station. Interesting to see the billboards and read all the ads.

Those of you who guessed yesterday's picture was Billy Carter's gas station were correct. The mini-contest today is this . . . Can you remember the advertising jingle for Texaco in the 1960's and 1970's?

  2. There was a Texaco right in the middle of my home town, downtown! Next to the VFW, the library and city hall. Small, small place on the corner, but was he ever busy!!!
