Threshing



Today's picture shows harvest time at a farm in Ohio. The wheat has been gathered and they are now running it through the thresher. The thresher separates the grain from the stalk. The threshing machine is sort of hidden behind the wagons of wheat stalks, but you can see it is being powered from a large belt connected to the tractor.

  1. Farmers were always coming up with better harvesting innovations.
    I was raised on a farm back in 1950's.
    That was about the time they started bailing.
