Ice Cream Truck

Today's picture is from 1918, and it shows an old Ice Cream Truck. The picture was taken in Washington DC.

I can remember growing up in the 1960's we had a milk man that delivered milk a couple times a week. In addition to milk, his truck was filled with all types of delicious ice cream treats. The eskimo pies and ice cream bars were really good.

  1. I don't know if it would make the ice cream taste better or not, but buying ice cream treats from this truck would be so much more cool (no pun intended) than from the van with the cracked wind shield that occasionally comes through our neighborhood.
