Grain Harvest

Today's picture shows a grain harvest in the 1930's. I am not sure what the piece of equipment does, but I think it separates the grain from the stubble. Maybe a farmer out there could shed more light on the piece of equipment shown.

  1. Can't say for positive, but I would say it is an small pull type combine.

  2. I will go further to say it is Allis Chamers, but it is being hand feed bundles. It was likely the first year this farm had the combine. It is an early one; note the conveyor offload.

The tractor, Farmall F12, tricycle, on rubber.
