Power Line

Today's picture shows a construction worker helping to run an electric power line. The picture was taken near Fort Knox in Kentucky. The picture was taken in 1942.


  1. That looks like real copper cable. Bet that spool in today's dollars would be around $2000.

  2. At that date, I'd bet the copper came from my town, it produced most of the copper used in the US then.
