We wrap up Space Week with this picture that I consider to be the pinnacle of human history . . . July 21, 1969. It was the day that Neil Armstrong to the first steps on the moon. We have never done anything bigger, and we are presently not able to repeat it.

  1. Beautiful photo! Such a monumental moment.

  2. That photo makes me so proud, I could just burst !

  3. What a great photo! I think it's rather sad that we no longer have the capability to go to the moon. I'm hoping that in my lifetime we do go back to the moon or even go to Mars. Great photos this week, PJM! :)

  4. No moisture on moon, hence the impossibility of a clear footprint in dust.
