Western Union Office Building

Today's picture shows the Western Union Building in New York. The picture was taken in 1912. Telegraphs  were the primary form of commercial communication at this time, so it was a very big and important business.

  1. I have always been fascinated by corner buildings like that one.

  2. Does this building still exist?

  3. Interestingly, there's no wires coming from the building.... Perhaps they're on the back side.

  4. 195 Broadway? It doesn't look like the one in wiki for New York. I am familiar with the existing building at 60 Hudson in NYC.
