Each day we bring you one stunning little glimpse of history in the form of a historical photograph. Enjoy!
About this site:
I have been an avid collector of old photographs and documents for over 30 years. The photographs on this site are derived from material I have collected over the years. Some came from old family albums, some from material I bought at flea markets over the years, and some from government archives of public domain images, including the US Library of Congress, and the National Archives. We appreciate you visiting this blog, and hope you find it interesting.

ReplyDeleteI was going to guess something to do with dangerous animals, but then it wouldn't make sense that his arms were totally bare and unprotected.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, big changes here. Been gone for a while, and the old format of how I see the comments is back, and the dreaded word verification Rorschah blobs are gone. Way to go, PJM.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a robot.
I quess him to be a lion tamer. The netting is too big for bees.
ReplyDeleteGreat Contest idea! Congratulations, PJM. Wish I checked earlier so I could have entered my wrong guess!
ReplyDeleteIf he gets hit on the arm or shoulder with an errant ball, it is going to sting. Then again, it might not be an errant ball. I know some folks who would aim for him. The good news is - anyone aiming for him is almost certain to miss!
