Twin Girls

Today's picture shows twin girls posing with a police officer. I am not sure where the picture was taken, but it does look a little like the White House. It looks like other pictures I have seen taken of people visiting the White House. I can not be sure, but that would be my guess.

DOMESTIC UPDATE:

As many of you know, the Lovely Ms. EAM has been in Africa for the last 7 months serving as village nurse for the Mattaw Children's Village. She came down with Malaria, and basically has not been able to shake it. She has been sick for going on 2 months now, and all the malaria and medications have taken their toll and basically she was just not able to turn the corner and start getting well and getting her strength back. So, the people she works for, and her family decided the time had come that she MUST come home and seek modern medical attention. Our concern then became that she would have to be well enough to actually get on the airplane for the long trip home. I am happy to say that she departed Africa last night, made it safely to London, and is now on her way to Dallas, where Mrs. PJM and I will pick her up this afternoon. Kim Huffman, who started Mattaw, was kind enough to accompany Miss EAM on her trip back to Dallas. The concern was that she would get halfway home and have another relapse and then not have anyone to tend to her. So, I appreciate all the prayers and kind wishes from you all. I believe that once we get her home and to modern doctors we can get things sorted out and get her health and strength back. And, many HUGE thanks to Bud and Kim Huffman who were incredible in taking care of her in this tough situation. Oh, and I asked her if she could bring Georgie back with her, but she said that would be frowned on by village management.

  4. Praise the Lord that she is coming home, that she is strong enough to make the trip, that she has a friend that would accompany her & that she has parents to love her.

  6. That is fantastic news. I know she is probably pretty depressed about having to leave but a heathy EAM is much more effective. EAM is my hero!!!

  7. Thanks for sharing the good news! We'll continue to pray for Elizabeth's recovery.

Although, I'm still holding out hope that she was sensible enough to tuck Georgie in her carry on bag.

And I agree, the windows look like the ones at the White House.

  8. Wonderful news! Praise God that she is well enough to travel and gad someone with her.

I will continue to pray for her recovery. Malaria is a nasty disease and recovery can take a long time.

The girls are cute and it does look like the White House, but of course many other buildings have similar windows.

  13. You religious people are funny.

God actually wanted her to die, that's why she got malaria without any human interference.

And now you are turning to science to get her to live, but attribute the fact that she is getting better not to the doctors, but to god.

    Amazing

  14. 2 Timothy 3:1-5
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
