Napping

We wrap up Domestic Activities Week with this picture. The photo is from 1904, and it shows a woman napping at her table at the end of a busy day. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and get plenty of rest.

  1. Been there, done that, the mind is so active you can't fall asleep. You just find something to do let it rest and the next thing you know it's time to get up and you haven't been to bed.

How about a real domestic update this week end?
One where you get us caught up on all the animals in Chickie Town. How much rain did you get since it started to rain again? How is your garden growing?
    ETC., ETC., ETC.
    Your followers want to know.
Okay lets have a POLL. How many of you want detail domestic up dates?

  2. I seems like an uncomfortable way to sleep; maybe she is dead? Shot in the back by a jealous lover.

Maybe DADD can start a Domestic Update of the Day site?

  3. It does look uncomfortable. Maybe she cheated and someone shot her!

  4. If you have the time and the energy, we would all love a domestic update, and an Africa diary.

  6. Well, at least she took the time to roll up a towel to use for a pillow.

It is 11 below with a wind chill of 38 below this morning in ND.
It is suppose to get up to 2 above with a wind chill of 29 below, and sunny.
It seems we are going to have a cople days of winter.
Then it is going to go up to the mid to upper 20's SUNday through Wednesday

  8. I really enjoyed this weeks pictures of every day chores back in the day. My favorite was of Mom and Daughter doing the dishes. How about a poll at the end of each week of your favorite picture of the day? Might be fun to see what gets voted as number 1 and see if your favorite agrees with the majority.
