Kipsongo

The lovely Ms. EAM took us to Kipsongo yesterday. I decided this must be the saddest place on earth. People living is complete squalor. Everyone is sick, they are starving, and people are lying on the ground covered with flies. I realize that I should never complain about anything as long as I live.

  1. Isn't that the truth . . . yet we can't really know that, living in the United States. We don't have the right measuring stick.

Sending positive thoughts that you and the Mrs. have a good return trip! Enjoy each precious moment with your grown-up, giving daughter.

  2. The saddest poverty of all is not having Christ.

  3. I believe that we should all be conscious and grateful for what we have. In many ways we are the richest country and society in the world, and we need to be reminded of that frequently. Merry Christmas everyone, God bless PJM and Mrs PJM, and the lovely EAM this holiday and on their return trip. May we all remember and be grateful for our riches no matter what they are!

  4. That poor child looks so cheerful, and yet her thin hair is a sure sign of severe malnutrition.

  5. You are seeing the future of this country if something is not done about the over population and unlimited immigration into this country. When I was born the population was about 120,000,000 and now we are in reality near or more 400,000,000.
