Each day we bring you one stunning little glimpse of history in the form of a historical photograph. Enjoy!
About this site:
I have been an avid collector of old photographs and documents for over 30 years. The photographs on this site are derived from material I have collected over the years. Some came from old family albums, some from material I bought at flea markets over the years, and some from government archives of public domain images, including the US Library of Congress, and the National Archives. We appreciate you visiting this blog, and hope you find it interesting.

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Florence Nightingale, do you have an EAM update for us?
ReplyDeleteNate,
ReplyDeleteNext week will be Nurse Week.
I will give an update on the Lovely Ms. PJM tomorrow. Thank you for asking.
PJM
Hmm. You have to get up mighty early in the morning here on the west coast!
ReplyDeletePJM, all you have to do is click on Dave's name and his profile comes up. RN stands for Registered Nurse.
ReplyDeleteHave been following your daughter's blog. Fascinating and very informative.
Lady Anne, I was teasing Dave for not knowing Florence Nightingale, as he is an RN.

Aw man... it's not like we studied pictures of her...
ReplyDeleteI KNEW! I KNEW WHO SHE WAS! OH DARN, why didn't I get on site earlier. I could have been a winner. Instead, I'm just slow! SIGH!
ReplyDeleteIt is really hard to beat RTD or the Evil Nate Maas to the punch for winning one of these contests, Michael.
ReplyDeleteI knew too, but arrived too late to prove it, sadly.
ReplyDeleteAww, I thought it was Harriet Beecher Stowe, and I was hoping Women Writers Week was coming up... Still holding out hope!
