I have decided to make this Bedouin Week. We will spend the week looking at these nomads of the desert. We kick things off with this picture from the late 1800's. It is a photochrom print showing the Prince of Palmyra. The picture is from Tadmur, Syria.

  1. Good job ENM, I didn't have the slighest clue as to PJM mystery person was.

A like this choice better than murdering preachers.

  2. Thanks RTD, and I agree, photochrom bedouins are cooler than ministers of death - particularly the photochrom aspect.

  3. That is some cool stuff looking at a person who lived over a hundred years ago! The thinking of such a person can only be guess at? I like looking at old photographs and buildings from History! Thank you.
