PJMToo easy, Sadat
That is from 1978 Two agreements reached between Menachem Begin of Israel and Anwar el-Sadat of Egypt with the help of U.S. President Jimmy Carter at Camp David, Md.,
Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin acknowledge applause during a Joint Session of Congress in which President Jimmy Carter announced the results of the Camp David Accords.
That was a great stepping stone to peace in the Middle East
Very Good!DAG, you only named one person though. So maybe you are a partial winner.RTD indicated Begin and Sadat, and slightly ahead of Where the Acorns Fall.Good job to all!PJM
The young man to the left of Sadat appears to be Jeff Carter, Jimmy Carter's son. The young lady to the left may be Jeff's wife, Annette.
Sadat. Assassinated for talking peace with israel. The world seems to have forgotten who the murderers were.John
