Mystery Person Contest


Let the Games Begin!

This contest is closed. PJM is the winner.

The man is Dr. George Washington Truett. He was one of the great revival preachers of the late 1800's and early 1900's. Sort of the Billy Graham of that time period.

He was Pastor of First Baptist of Dallas, Texas, but one of his favorite places to preach was at the tent revivals and encampments at Christoval, Texas.

  9. I think this fine looking gentleman is either Jansforth C. Howling, inventor of the decoy, or Ronald W. Smithdale, first man dicovered to have multiple families in different states.

  14. It would be cool if it was Barnes Wallis genius behind the Dam Busters Raid on the Ruhr dams. I did a term paper on the raid many years ago so I know it's not him. I haven't a blessed clue who the man is.

    I looked through google pics of Christoval, Texas governors, other themes, but found none who looked like that.
