    She also posed for some French post cards.

  7. Thanks guys. PJM, sometimes I get lucky. I was at first taken with her turban, but then I started thinking the pearls might have more to do with it. Quick search of dancers with pearls turned up Gaby Deslys pretty fast.

  8. Pretty famous dancer ,she died of a throat infection due to influenza. Operated on many times, twice without an anasthesia.

  12. I always thought I was pretty good, researching in the internet -- but I am like kindergarten bracket compared to Nate and Roger and PJM. I am not even at the starting line when one of them have the answer! But I'll keep peeking in here, to learn something each time I do.
