Each day we bring you one stunning little glimpse of history in the form of a historical photograph. Enjoy!
Lurking my blogspot following list and this popped up - just to explain why this comment is coming approx' 2.13 seconds after you post this article. The second guy on the left: I love the way his hat is actually larger (in terms of height) than his head. Unless, of course, his forehead extends into the space. In true keeping with the theme; they do all look greatly depressed. What are they hanging in the window? They look like comfy horse collars for Shetland Ponies, or possibly large toilet seat covers.
Hi !It looks like an extracted image of the drama "The Untouchables" with Eliot Ness!Hahaha !
Looks like he is wearing a ten gallon hat, but only has a seven gallon head.
haha! they;re so cool!
Looking closely, they don't look all that depressed; they have slight smiles on their faces.I'm not a betting man, but I am sure that 100 years from now we will still have pictures with Coca Cola ads in them.
Is that sean connery by chance?
To my knowledge, there is no Mound Bayou in Louisiana and there never was, but there is one in Mississippi that is famous as being founded by Negroes in the 1800's. Possibly that is where this picture was taken.
There actually is a Mound Bayou, Louisiana.http://www.fishingworks.com/lakes/louisiana/tensas/somerset/mound-bayou/
I love seeing the way people looked and dressed from before I was....born, lol.
Is the guy on the left wear'n a hoodie under his coat? Goes back farther than I thought if so!
Despite what Anonymous said, while there may be a bayou named Mound Bayou, there is no town named as such.
