  1. Looks like Fred Gwynne, but somehow I don't think it is. So much for getting up early.

    The game continues!

  3. No idea this morning, but he sure looks "used up". Those bags under his eyes makes him look like he hasn't slept in weeks.
So is today you get to use the SKY LIFT and finish up your panels? How has the temps been lately?
I don't know if it is old age, but the Sun seems to be a lot hotter on me. I can't hardly stand to go out of the shade, even when I'm riding the lawn mower. And you don't get a good mower job when you are just mower in the shade of the trees.

  4. Roger,
The sky lift came yesterday afternoon, and today the beast will be put to use. It is an amazing piece of equipment. I will have pictures tomorrow.

I agree with you . . . the heat gets to me a lot worse than when I was a young man. Even when I come in after working in the sun, it is like it is hard to snap back to feeling normal. It has been 105 in the shade the last week. And, the greenhouse work is not in the shade.

Time is running out. I have one more week before school starts, so I must get the panels on this weekend.

  12. No winners yet.

    Pam,
I would like Belgium waffles, with a touch of maple syrup, whipped cream, fresh strawberry preserves, and a little powdered sugar on top. Generally eat breakfast about 6:00 AM.

The game continues . . . I must return to Project greenhouse for half hour.

  13. After Pam suggested Extra Billy, and PJM said no, I googled Extra Billy and looked at the images that came up.

It looks like there are 2 separate individuals identified as Extra Billy on the internet. But how can that be when the internet is always right? ;- )

Maybe PJM is trying to make a point, one that I try to hammer in to my kids all the time when they take the easy route and use internet sources for a paper? Or maybe it is heat stroke?

Sorry, but we are going to be expecting the real thing. Hope you don't live to far away. Mrs. PJM likes a little butter drizzled on.

  21. Pam,
I am sorry you live far far away. You better gas up the car, and get going now, to be here on time. I have things all set up on the balcony. It will be a breakfast to remember. Mrs. PJM will be so surprised.
