Mending Dress


Today's picture was taken in 1904. It shows a woman mending the lace on her dress. The picture is obviously a studio posed shot, but nonetheless, it shows clothing styles of the day.

  2. That's a nice shot -- I like that it shows her biting the thread. I also wonder if the set-up was an excuse to show some leg.

  5. Anyone able to ID the magazine on the floor? Looks like it says 'The ????? Magazine"?

    It's hard to tell but it sort of lookis like she's mimicking a pos on the cover.
