Mail Wagon


Today's picture was taken in 1905. It shows postmen unloading mail at Union Station in Chicago. The mail wagons continued to be used for some time, even after cars were available.

  2. @maybelline: i truly LOVE handwritten letters but it's been ages since i wrote one... what i noticed is that i'm putting much more thought into letters because there's no 'delete' option ;)
    btw: will we get any pictures of the pony express?
