Old Airplane
OK, we are wrapping up helicopter week today with this picture of a man in an airplane. See, towards the middle of the week, I started running out of good pictures of helicopters, and interest from visitors was waning, so I switched to planes with pilots. I feel the topic this week was somewhat of a bust. I need good ideas for a theme for next week. Ideas?

HOW ABOUT OLD LAKE CABINS (NATURE) AND VACATION PICTURES. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK I ENJOY IT VERY MUCH
ReplyDeleteHow about unusual collections. We know about stamps, bottle caps, medals etc. Find the stuff we don't know about.
ReplyDeleteHe seems to be wearing his best 'Sunday go to flying' attire.
ReplyDeleteI like Anon-in-Caps idea with the nature theme. How about National Parks? Judi

ReplyDeleteMy vote is for pictures of old tractors next week.
ReplyDeleteI like the tractors idea also. Not just tractors, though. Tractors at work.
ReplyDeleteWOW, what a chunk of metal that motor is.
ReplyDeleteI would hate to land that thing when it was wet out. That front wheel would put up an awful spray. Even though there is a small fender, I'm sure he would get soaked.
Maybe they didn't fly them when it rained.
It almost looks like they could put some pepdals on the front wheel and he could pepal it around.
Building skyscrapers in the early 1900's
Why do you think that the first commenter had to shout?

It almost looks like some of the framing on that plane was wood.
ReplyDeleteI like the sky scraper idea.

How about old fire apparatus and firefighters?
ReplyDeleteHow about real western heros and their ladies. Men were men amd women were (true) women.
ReplyDeleteHello PJM...
ReplyDeleteWould love to see some pics of your farm and what you would like to do with your soon coming tractor now that you are a 'PEACH' of a husband.
Cheers...Aussie Lady
How about pictures of not just tractors, but other farm implements? And barns. and corrals.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the pictures and the good company.
How about pictures of the early oil industry?
ReplyDeleteOil will soon be all over the coast of Louisiana AND the news.
Well it looks like you got a bunch of great suggestions.
ReplyDeleteThat shoud keep you going for awhile.
I think you should give us some photos of your "Homestead".
I know you gave us a few photos of Chickie Town, and one or two of your solar panels. But we would like to see your house and wind charger and some more of your soar panels.
Maybe a map or drawing of how things are laid out at your homestead.
There is a whole weeks of photos right there.
R
How about moms? Since next week will be Mother's Day
ReplyDeleteThanks, anon. My first suggestion.
ReplyDeleteSure I'd get in that thing and fly 200' above the ground. NOT.
ReplyDeleteI vote for Fire HORSES next week. Or maybe just old time photos of horses.
Moms at work on tractors.
ReplyDeleteI remember, when I was a kid, a farmer somewhere between Livingston and Bozeman had an old one-lunger John Deere (?) and Dad used to stop just to listen to it if it was at work when we drove by. I can't even remember what it looked like, but, I certainly remember the sound.
A Johnny Popper...
ReplyDeleteHow about pictures of beauty. Like womens beauty and how it's evolved. The hair. The clothes. The make-up. Next week would be a fabulous week for women because of Mother's Day.

The real Western Heros were the women who held things together when all heck was breaking loose around them. How about pictures of the women who fought off Indians, planted and harvested the crops, housed, raised, fed and clothed the kids, and taught them the 3 R's.

ReplyDeleteHello again PJM, Love ur blog.
ReplyDeleteI would like to hear how Obama's great changes are actually effecting everyone's life in the states. My prayers are with you as well as with Israel.
It certainly looks like the times of the Gentiles is comming to a close. Loved your previous pics of old Jerusalem and your predictions for the USA and the world at large, ( New World Order ) they are spot on.
Your Chickie Town updates are a welcomed relief, so sweet in a world full of such evil.
We are not immune here either, Rudd and Obama are mates. Psalm 83 is on the horizon. Am listening for the shofar (trumpet ) and the shout of the arc-angel...
and once again would love to see pics of your ranch/farm.
Am also very impressed with the work you do with the children. I read their website and wept with joy...
The Lord bless thee and keep thee
The Lord make His face shine apon thee and be gracious to thee
The Lord lift up His contenance apon thee and give thee peace.
Shalom.
