Each day we bring you one stunning little glimpse of history in the form of a historical photograph. Enjoy!
About this site:
I have been an avid collector of old photographs and documents for over 30 years. The photographs on this site are derived from material I have collected over the years. Some came from old family albums, some from material I bought at flea markets over the years, and some from government archives of public domain images, including the US Library of Congress, and the National Archives. We appreciate you visiting this blog, and hope you find it interesting.

No clue but I love the hat.
ReplyDeleteThis is where I fail miserably after Round 1; although I guess being 6 hours ahead of you means I've got longer to guess. Maybe? Haha.

This was Miss Helen Taft, daughter of Predident Taft.

Good job Rob! After that one horrible contest day, I think it is easy to spot a Taft for me now.
ReplyDeleteGood going, Rob. Haven't seen you
ReplyDeletefor a while, but knew you'd be

Well, she looks like a very sweet young girl... love the clothing, the wicker furniture, the hat, the... well, everything! I not-so-secretly wish I lived back in the early 20th century.
ReplyDeleteAww, shucks! Why can't I be a time traveler, like the Evil Nate Maas??
Looks like she could be having tea at The Breakers in Newport.
ReplyDeleteI love that era.
PJM:
ReplyDeleteHow did you make that picture of Nate?
Also, the hat rounds off "Hat Week" very nicely.
