French Market

This is another picture of New Orleans in 1935. The picture shows the French Market area along the waterfront.
This week of pictures sure makes me want to visit New Orleans again. I really like the food. Nothing like a good Jambalaya or Crawfish Pie. I would also like to visit that Civil War museum again. Hmmmm . . . maybe next summer I could convince Mrs. PJM to make a trip up to New Orleans with me.

  3. Although the signs have change, most of the stores now cater to feeding and amusing locals and tourists alike, the scenery still looks much the same. When/if one goes into the French Market, please visit Central Grocery for the best Muffaletta you will ever have! kj

  8. Tell Mrs. PJM you folks need to go to N'Orlans and shop for Cajun Peacocks. She should jump at the chance.
