Trifecta

OK, we have a good contest for you today. Go ahead and mark your calendar, May 2, 1009. That is the day that I win, and defeat you all. Yes, this is the week you go down. In today's contest you have to name three people. All three answers have to be correct. I will not tell you this one is right, and this one is wrong. You have to get ALL three right.

Did you all notice that Nate Maas did not even play last week. Like most of you, I just assumed that he was in jail on something. For a while I was thinking. Hmmmm . . . they caught the Craigslist killer and threw him in jail, AND that Saturday Nate Mass does not show up for the game. Well, like most of you, I put two and two together. Then someone claiming to be Nate posts a comment saying that he did not play because he was taking a group of Boy Scouts camping. Please! Well, we will find out the truth this week. If he does not play this week, we will be forced to assume the worst. OK, here are the other two pictures.

And now for the final person:

Let the Games Begin!

Capt. Thomas Lipton, the third photo is Paul Von Hindenburg, President of pre-Nazi Germany.

A particulary pitiful entry. You have not submitted a wining entry.

This is the day that I will win!

  3. This is three weeks worth in one day. Since it's an overload, I think a hint of some sort would be fair. I'm thinking in keeping with this past weeks theme these people were involved in balooning or lighter than airships?

  4. The people beg and plead for a hint, but none will be given them!

    Ha Haaaaaa Ha.

You will be defeated, you will all be defeated!

  6. Ray,

    Your entry is not correct.

It appears few have the nerve to play this morning.

  12. I'm pretty sure the first guy has something to do with Lipton Tea. But seriously, I've done extensive research on historic people of ballooning with no luck. I'm at a loss.

  13. Ross,
Welcome to the game. Add your name to our list of people who have NOT won this week's contest.

  14. Snapshotart,
The constest rules are that if no one gets it in 24 hours, I win.

    I have never won yet.

This is the week that I win, I am sure.

Perhaps you need a little more coffee this morning. Your entry, like your earlier one, is not a winner.

  33. Okay, Craigslist Killer?!? I didn't even know there was such a thing. Did an Internet search and okay, the surveillance pictures could be me, so I guess I'm glad they caught the guy. As I was searching though, one of the headlines cracked me up, "Wedding off for Craigslist killer." Um, yeah, I guess that would put a strain on any relationship!

  34. Glad to see that Nate is on this side of the law.
