Porters

This picture was taken in about 1910, and it shows a group of porters carrying trunks. The picture was taken in Bolivia.

  4. Years of experience have proven that carrying those trunks is best done as shown with the bulk of the load distributed to the hips so when they walk slightly stooped, they can carry tremendous loads.

    Wow, is that a long enough sentence or not!

  9. they are not Eskimo nor are they Asian with lack of shoes, hair on their feet and sizing them to the boxes they might be Hobbits.
    I guess J.R.R. Tolkien was right when he said they do exist. Just a thought for any LotR fans out there, I'm sorry for the rest of you.
