Today is Saturday, the day I post a picture of someone, and you have to figure out who it is. Every week I have made it harder, and every week someone has still figured it out. The first few times I gave a few clues, but even after I stopped giving clues, people would still figure it out. I am sure, though, that this will be the week I stump the Internet, as I will give absolutely no hints at all.Saturday, November 29, 2008

ReplyDeleteNo Hints For You!
ReplyDeleteIt must be you.
ReplyDeleteFoiled Again. I guess you can not stump the internet. How did you know?
ReplyDeletePJM
I'll say Mark Twain.
ReplyDeleteLouie Lamore?

Hi So it is YOu.. Cool.
ReplyDeleteHave you read any of Thomas E. Mails Books. I believe he has a Really honest handle for the Feel of the Native People. George C. Frison is incredable .
My first thought was that
ReplyDeleteit was you, but I didn't think
you'd do that to us.
You posted a picture of
yourself with Charlton Heston
sometime ago.
I think I have that right.
I left the first comment this morning, I first thought Louis L'amour then I thought that guy may be a Texas Ranger , then I thought yep he is a Cattle Baron.HaHa good one I look forward to the one next week.
ReplyDeleteI'd have guessed it was you, too... because it looked like a modern photo turned sepia rather than an old photo. Not enough noise, too even/good exposure... *shrugs*
ReplyDeleteWilford Brimley!
ReplyDeleteI'm good with the Mark Twain, louis Lamore, Texas Ranger or even Cattle Baron (quite believable, by the way), but Willford Brimley? You would need about another 75 pounds and all white hair to even come close. Also, you are the positive attitude opposite of Brimley, remember?
ReplyDeleteA very distinguished picture of a man on the beginning of discovery!
Is this Zane Grey?
ReplyDeleteJust a random guess, but maybe Lew Wallace. Governor of New Mexico territory and author of Ben-Hur?
ReplyDeleteLarry McMurtry

ReplyDeleteIt looks like the famous stuntman, director Ed Yakima Canutt
ReplyDeleteYou look exactly like I pictured you!!
ReplyDeleteSo it really is you? I thought you were kidding. Great photo.
ReplyDeleteI kept thinking the guy looked like someone I'd seen before (especially the eyes looked familiar) but I guess not.
Yep, have to admit, it is me. PJM makes internet photo-debut.

You sly fox!
ReplyDeleteVery clever, my son. At first glance, one just assumes that the photograph is from the late 19th or early 20th century (as most of your offerings comprise). Upon the revelation and a second look, the quality of the photo is definitely modern. Good post! God Bless.
ReplyDeleteFinally got to check back and see if I was right! Excellent. Once again this site is the best. Thanks!

Your attractive. But you know, you don't have to make the "mystery person" more difficult each time. Sometimes you can make it very easy to fool people (not next time though).

Every bit the tool I expected you to look like. Thanks! Your dry and pedantic writing will one day make it into the annals of the Worst of the Worst of The Blogosphere!
ReplyDeleteOh...come on, anonymous. Be a little more tactful. At least leave us a gorgeous photo of yourself an a link to your oh so witty blog...or at least a name! Coward.
