Sharecroppers

This picture was taken in 1941 and shows a group of sharecroppers working a field. The group is growing cotton, and must hoe the field to keep the weeds down.

  1. It is interesting how the women are dressed in dresses, and not work clothes. It looks as if they are dressed for church, not the field

  2. Ryan C. used a lot of the Photoshop clone tool. You can see a pattern in the field and the workers' feet are erased. Was that part of the photo missing?
