Each day we bring you one stunning little glimpse of history in the form of a historical photograph. Enjoy!
About this site:
I have been an avid collector of old photographs and documents for over 30 years. The photographs on this site are derived from material I have collected over the years. Some came from old family albums, some from material I bought at flea markets over the years, and some from government archives of public domain images, including the US Library of Congress, and the National Archives. We appreciate you visiting this blog, and hope you find it interesting.

Sir Thomas Lipton, I was looking in an old Time-Life book on Yachts and it had mentioned him, there might have been this photo, but it triggered a memory.
ReplyDeleteSir Thomas Lipton but I can't find that picture anywhere.
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me how quickly you all figure these out. I gave almost no clues today.

Darn! I thought it was the Kelloggs guy. He has the same mustache.
ReplyDeleteI thought it might be Kellogg as well. When I looked him up his portrait did not match the person in the photo.
ReplyDeleteI failed the obvious clue.
i immediately recognized him... probably because his face was on the tea boxes for so long; it probably still is.
