Each day we bring you one stunning little glimpse of history in the form of a historical photograph. Enjoy!
About this site:
I have been an avid collector of old photographs and documents for over 30 years. The photographs on this site are derived from material I have collected over the years. Some came from old family albums, some from material I bought at flea markets over the years, and some from government archives of public domain images, including the US Library of Congress, and the National Archives. We appreciate you visiting this blog, and hope you find it interesting.

This is the most novel contraption I have ever seen. I want them! JD
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if this fellow went to a photographer and had his picture taken with props (the skates), he seems to be standing in front of a painted screen. Good picture but you wonder why he didn't choose a cowboy hat and chapps and maybe stand by a stuffed horse. Yours is the best blog around. CS
ReplyDeleteReminds me of much more recent and quite recently patented.
ReplyDeleteThe man is the inventor of those pedal skates, Charles A. Nordling of Suisun, California.
