Today we feature a portrait of Albert Einstein, who on this day, March 20th, in the year 1916 published his General Theory of Relativity. I find it interesting that as technology advances to increase our power of observation (cosmos, atoms, etc.), science becomes more and more complex to explain what is observed. Then once in a generation someone like Einstein comes along and shows that there is a simple explanation behind everything being observed.Thursday, March 20, 2008
