Abraham Lincoln
This photograph shows President Abraham Lincoln in the tent of General George McClellan. The photograph was taken on the Antietam battlefield shortly after the battle. I was always curious about this picture . . . it looks like an American flag is being used as a table cloth in the tent. Abraham Lincoln was born on this day, February 12, in the year 1809.

The flag on the table looks a lot like a real Conferderate flag. There were two Conferderate flags, one was this one and the more recognizable one is the battle flag, the one with the X stripes of stars on a red background. Just a thought.
